Complete Express Entry guide for the immigration in Canada

This step-by-step guide will take you through all you need to know about applying for immigration in Canada through Express Entry. To find out what activities you'll need to perform are all given below:

Identifying your NOC:

You must first verify that your job experience allows for Express Entry under the NOC system to be qualified.

Learn how to find the right NOC for your current and previous work experience in this article. You will also be able to verify your Express Entry eligibility by checking the Skill Type or Level (0, A, B, C, or D) of your NOC.

Educational Credential Assessment:

To evaluate if a foreign degree, diploma, or certificate is comparable in Canada, an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) is used. An ECA, for example, will assess whether an applicant's foreign Master's degree meets the same standards as a Canadian Master's degree. You must provide an ECA if your credential was awarded in Canada by a Canadian educational body.

English and/or French Language Tests:

Language examinations are required for all three Express Entry programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class.

The language requirements for the three programs are varied.

CRS points are awarded based on candidates' ability to communicate in English and French, but they must be earned in IRCC-approved exams.

Eligibility for Express Entry:

There are minimal qualifying conditions that must be satisfied to apply for immigration in Canada via Express Entry for one of the three categories. The following is a list of each program's requirements:

  • Skilled Federal Employees
  • Skilled Trades in the Federal Government
  • Class on the Canadian Experience

Calculate your CRS score:

All applicants who complete an Express Entry profile are assigned a score out of 1,200 based on factors that affect newcomers' economic success once they arrive in Canada. Your work experience, language skills (English and French), education, approved job offer, provincial nomination, and so on are all factors to consider.

Getting into the Pool of Express Entry:

After completing your language examinations and getting your ECA, you must use the Coming to Canada Tool to verify your eligibility and then build an Express Entry profile to be considered for a slot in the pool of candidates.

There are two main steps to enter the pool: I confirm eligibility and obtain your Reference Code using the Come to Canada tool, and (ii) create a GC Key account and profile to enter the pool.

Receiving an Invitation Application:

An Invitation to Apply is a letter sent to successful Express Entry candidates with a CRS score higher than the cut-off criterion specified in each draw. Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) sent the letter received on the Express Entry profile's correspondence area. A candidate can only apply for immigration in Canada after receiving the ITA.

  1. The process of applying for a visa for any country is not an easy one, but there are some UAE Immigration Agencies that make the process as easy as possible. Immigration Consultants in Dubai are also very important in terms of immigration services.
